Party Wall

Under the Party Wall etc Act 1996, a Building Owner proposing undertaking works on a Party Wall, Party Structure or excavating adjacent to a neighbouring property, is required to serve notice of their intentions on the Adjoining Owner.

We have a wealth of experience in this field and offer free initial consultation on Party Wall matters and the steps required to complete the process.

APC Surveyors will act for Building Owners by way of serving Party Wall notices and producing a Party Wall Award.

We also act for Adjoining Owners in order to resolve disputes that may arise under the Act, by agreeing a Party Wall Award on their behalf.

We adhere to procedure as set out in the RICS Party Wall Legislation and Procedure 7th Edition Guidance Note, along with requirements as members of the Pyramus & Thisbe Club.
